Young American rapper, XXXTentacion, has been killed after being shot in an apparent drive-by as he was leaving a motorcycle shop in South Florida on Monday.
The 20-year-old, whose real name is Jahseh Onfroy, was pronounced dead after being taken to a hospital from the scene of the shooting, Riva Motorsport, where he had gone shopping.
XXXTentacion’s death comes after featuring on XXL’s Freshman list in 2017 as well as releasing two albums, “17” and “?”, which enjoyed relative success on the charts.
However, he was also facing 15 felony charges which included aggravated battery of a pregnant woman (his ex girlfriend), domestic assault by strangulation, and false imprisonment.
ANOTHER AFRICAN TEAM FALLS TO LAST MINUTE GOAL AT THE WORLD CUP
First it was Egypt against Uruguay, then Morocco with an own goal while playing Iran. Now, Tunisia know exactly the blues that clouded their North African compatriots after conceding late in the 2-1 loss to England at the World Cup on Monday.
Tunisia were put under intense pressure by England from the get go and soon conceded the opener after Harry Kane reacted quickest to a rebound off the Tunisia goalkeeper, Mouez Hassen’s otherwise remarkable effort to keep John Stones’ header out in the 11th minute.
But England handed Tunisia a way back into the game after Kyle Walker fouled Fakhreddine Ben Youssef in the area, allowing Ferjani Sassi to calmly slot in the resultant penalty in the 35th minute despite Jordan Pickford stretching in the right direction.
And the game looked destined to end in a draw until Kane again ghosted away from his markers to head in the winner from close range in the 91st minute.
In other games played on Monday, Sweden beat South Korea 1-0 in a Group F encounter while England’s Group G rivals, Belgium, overcame a frustrating goalless first half to get a 3-0 win over Panama courtesy of a spectacular Dries Mertens volley and a Romelu Lukaku double.
